Meet our Pitmaster – Julie Gonzalez

A family business passed down from her father, pitmaster Julie Gonzalez has proudly been the woman behind the pit for eleven years and counting. Carefully following recipes to create the signature tastes of Mr.G’s, not only does she focus on slow smoking the meats and creating delicious sides, but continuously envisions what a next customer favorite will be.

This year, on the marking of the 15th anniversary of the restaurant, pitmaster Julie reflects on the restaurant and it’s future, inviting the public to join us in celebrating, she says be on the lookout for a milestone celebration for the whole community to enjoy.
